Cotswold Tour (continued)
Burford
has a distinctive long and steep main street which is lined with trees
towards the top. The Church lies by the River Windrush and dates back
to the 15th century.
Bibury,
just off the Fosse Way, has a row of houses called Arlington Row dating
back to the 14th Century. The row was originally built as a sheep house
but was converted in the 1600's to provide cottages for weavers who supplied
cloth to the nearby Arlington Mill.
